1. INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE
The purpose of the Annual Report is to inform Council of Library activity, needs, and trends.

a) Background
The Annual Report is intended to paint a broad picture of the Library's operations in the past year, with comparisons to previous years. Explanations and background are provided in order to give the Council insight into growing needs and trends, and facilitate long-range planning.
