1. INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE
Continuation of discussion at prior Council meeting regarding Ordinance 480, a request for a Planned Development District rezoning for a properties located at the northeast corner of RR 620 and Bee Cave Parkway for a project known as "the Pearl"
2. DESCRIPTION/JUSTIFICATION
a) Background
The original materials provided to City Council prior to their discussion at their June 28, 2022 meeting are available here.
b) Issues and Analysis
Based some feedback received during the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council meeting, the developer submitted an initial redline for discussion covering such topics as the addition of a right turn lane and traffic signal on Bee Cave Parkway; the incorporation and requirement a mix of uses, including live work units; the incorporation and requirement an workforce housing component. The draft language is preliminary, as are staff's comments and analysis in the margins. More analysis by staff will be completed upon direction of the priorities and desires of Council.
