This is an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council concerning an issue of community interest that is not on the agenda. Comments on the agenda items must be made when the agenda item comes before the Council. The Mayor may place a time limit on all comments. Any deliberation of the issue is limited to a proposal to place it on the agenda for a later meeting.
5.Consent Agenda
All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council member requests in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public view.
A.Consider approval of minutes of the Regular Session conducted on March 14, 2017.
B.Consider approval of the monthly financial and investment report. (February)
C.Consider approval of the Bee Cave Library’s annual report.
D.Consider approval of the May 6, 2017 Joint Election Agreement.
E.Consider approval of a Proclamation recognizing National Air Quality Awareness Week for May 1 -5, 2017.
6.Discuss and consider action to extend deadlines regarding the zoning application associated with the West Village project located on West Highway 71 and Spanish Oaks Club Boulevard.
7.Discuss and consider action on Ordinance No. 338, an Ordinance suspending the proposed gas reliability infrastructure program interim rate adjustment under Section 103.001 of the Texas Utilities Code by Texas Gas Service Company.
8.Discuss and consider action on a license agreement with Hill Country Indoor to locate a temporary membership/construction trailer within the overflow parking area along Skaggs Drive.

 

9.Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on Ordinance No. 337 amending the zoning from Agriculture (Ag) to Single Family-Rural Residential (SF-RR) for 5.07 acres of land annexed into the City Limits via Ordinance 324 and located at 11015 State Hwy 71 West, (legally described as Lot 1 of the Final Plat of the Madrones Subdivision, Vol. 91, Pg. 361, of the Official Public Records of Travis County, Texas,) and also described as Travis Central Appraisal District Property ID 359664.
10.Public Hearing, discussion and possible action on Ordinance No. 334 to amend the zoning requirements for the Planned Development District Mixed Use Ordinance No. 214 for the Terrace at Bee Cave Project, located at the northeast corner of Bee Cave Parkway and RR 620, on Lots 1, 2, 4, and 5 Block B, of the Amended Final Plat of the Hill Country Galleria of Lots 1-8 and 10-26, Block A, Lots 1-3 and 5-8, Block B, and Lot 1, Block A, City of Bee Cave, Travis County, Texas, as recorded in document number 200700378 of the Official Public Records of Travis County Texas.

12.Open Executive Session
Open Executive Session. Executive session in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072 – Deliberation regarding Real Property and Section 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney in which the Attorney has a duty to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct that clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Open Meetings Law. The Council may adjourn into the Conference Room for the executive session.
A.Consultation with Attorney regarding possible legislation related to the Southwest Travis County groundwater conservation district and Southwest Travis County utility district.

The Council may go into closed session at any time when permitted by Chapters 418 or 551, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code. Before going into closed session a quorum of the Council must be assembled in the meeting room, the meeting must be convened as an open meeting pursuant to proper notice, and the presiding officer must announce that a closed session will be held and must identify the sections of Chapter 551 or 418, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code authorizing the closed session.
