This is an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council concerning an issue of community interest that is not on the agenda. Comments on the agenda items must be made when the agenda item comes before the Council. The Mayor may place a time limit on all comments. Any deliberation of the issue is limited to a proposal to place it on the agenda for a later meeting.
5.Consent Agenda
All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council member requests in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public view.
A.Consider approval of minutes of the Regular Session conducted on December 12, 2017.
B.Consider approval of the monthly financial and investment report. (November)
6.Public hearing, discussion and possible action on Ordinance No. 365 authorizing a Conditional Use Permit for “Child Daycare” for Lot 1, Block AA, as recorded in Document No. 201600051 OPRTC, located at approximately 15501 Block of SH-71 West, Bee Cave, Texas.
7.Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on Ordinance No. 367 to amend the concept plan, associated uses, and development standards for zoning district Planned Development Retail (PD-R) which encompasses Lot 3B, Block B, Tract 1, a Mountain Laurel Subdivision, as recorded in Document Number 201600086 of the Official Public Records of Travis County, Texas.
8.Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on Ordinance No. 368 to allow a Conditional Use Permit for “Restaurant” in NS (Neighborhood Service) District for Building B, Lot 4, Block A, Summit 56, a subdivision in Travis County, Texas, as recorded in Document No. 201000095, located at 15500 SH-71 West, Bee Cave, TX 78738.
9.Discuss and consider action on Ordinance No. 369 calling a General Election in Bee Cave for May 5, 2018 to elect a Mayor and two Council Members
10.Discuss and consider action regarding Austin Energy’s Overhead Electric Distribution Trading Post Feeder Tie Project and extension of existing overhead electric lines along Bee Cave Parkway.
11.Discuss and consider action on the site plan amendment for “McDonald’s restaurant”, located at 12514 W State Highway 71, Bee Cave, TX 78738.
12.Discuss and consider action on the site development plan for the “Juniper Trace Office”, located at 3805 Juniper Trace, Bee Cave, TX 78738.
13.Discuss and consider action regarding possible amendments to the City’s lighting ordinance specific to outdoor sports venues and authorize Staff to obtain a professional consultant.
14.Discuss and consider action regarding an appointment to Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s 2018 Regional Arterial Plan Steering Committee.

16.Open Executive Session
Open Executive Session. Executive session in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072 – Deliberation regarding Real Property and Section 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney in which the Attorney has a duty to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct that clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Open Meetings Law. The Council may adjourn into the Conference Room for the executive session.
A.Consultation with Attorney regarding Travis County Municipal Utility Districts 3 and 5 and the West Travis County Public Utility Agency participation agreement.
B.Consultation with Attorney regarding possible litigation of the Backyard Development Project located on Bee Cave Parkway.

The Council may go into closed session at any time when permitted by Chapters 418 or 551, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code. Before going into closed session a quorum of the Council must be assembled in the meeting room, the meeting must be convened as an open meeting pursuant to proper notice, and the presiding officer must announce that a closed session will be held and must identify the sections of Chapter 551 or 418, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code authorizing the closed session.
